  • Ariel uses an array of strategies for engaging people to work together towards a common goal. Her favorite methods include:

    • Person-centered communication

    • Facilitative leadership

    • Quality improvement

    • Human-centered design

    • Popular and adult education

Ariel has a Master of Public Health (MPH) with an emphasis on health promotion. She has been a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers since 2013.

Ariel began navigating the health care system as a teenager, when she began developing acute symptoms of celiac disease. This early and intense introduction gave her a very personal understanding of the shortcomings of healthcare delivery. After learning more about the intersection of health and social inequality, Ariel realized that health system transformation is not just about improving quality. Improving healthcare for everyone is essential to creating a just and equitable society.
